Beautiful day! We all drank coffee and tea this morning and said our goodbyes to Bob. He headed back down to Denver to finish off his filming. I jog/walked on our Estes Lake trail this afternoon and enjoyed all the folks who were out and about.

Loved the sign - as if my jog/walk would run folks over - haha. I had to take a picture. I do remember 20 years ago I was running a slick 8 minute mile and I'm sure that sign was made for me then (haha). The lake has a 5 mile circular path that extends all the way around. I jog 1.5 miles to the Estes Lake Marina and turn around. There's bike riders and strollers that share the trail - pretty cool!

Hello everyone. My name is Sue Kuentz and am recently retired from teaching for 33 years. I'm beginning my new trails of learning by teaching on the college level, presenting storytelling and ELA workshops and performing as a storyteller in schools.  Writing is essential for me to keep my creative juices flowing and what better way to accomplish this but through a daily blog. My husband and I, along with our dog are relaxing in Estes Park, CO so here's a bit of journaling of the trip.
